Description
The current Solaris SADA audiohd driver supports the Intel HD Audio 1.1 controller specs with realtek 880 series of codecs as found on ultra20-m2 workstations. In the development of that driver, an MCP51 chipset with HD Audio controller and Realtek 880 codec on MSI K8NGM2-L motherboard was used to test the driver also. The driver is known to work on such systems and should support pci10de,26c devices and passes HCTS. However, this device is not listed in /etc/driver_aliases and so it does not attach. Manually adding it works after running update_drv and devfsadm then rebooting the system.
