If I ssh to a lab system running snv_106 or snv_107 and then run /usr/dist/exe/console from that machine to any other lab system it proceeds as normal. However as soon as I enter the console command escape sequence ( ctrl+] ) the input hangs, however the output continues.
I tested this by sshing to a v240 running snv_107 and then console from that machine to an x4100. An engineer also reported the problem using consoling from snv_106 to 'any' machine. This problem does not exist in snv_102.
Work Around
Use telnet interface.

Try the workaround from bug 6795892 to turn of the non streams IO.
That work around (modifying /etc/sock2path) works.
