Description 
Xorg server 1.5 will use HAL for input device discovery and hotplug notification.
The 64-bit build of Xorg is failing because /usr/lib/amd64/libhal.so does not exist.

We will need 64-bit versions of libhal delivered on both SPARC & x86.
