During the SST manual installation testing of snv_88, an error message was discovered in /var/adm/messages:
May 7 03:51:40 xXxXx unix: [ID 508459 kern.warning] WARNING: Cannot load psm xpv_psm
The affected machine was a Sun Fire X4100 M2, on which snv_88 had been manually installed. The installed metacluster was SUNWCReq.
The same problem has been reportedly observed on a DELL Precision 450 and Sun Ultra 24 workstations after initial install of snv_88 and also after upgrade from s10u5_10.
(Both machines are x86.)
The problem was not observed on SPARC machines.
A new such message was added to /var/adm/messages after every reboot.
