SunOS octagon 5.11 snv_85 i86pc i386 i86pc
NVIDIA GPU Quadro NVS 285

Logged in as root to gnome, open terminal, fonts look bad - see attachment.

1. ran fc-cache -f (before applying any changes to packages) - poor fonts still visible.
2. installed B84 SUNWfreetype2 from /net/paravon.sfbay/export/x-re/pkgs/X_NV_milestone/x86/B84, ran fc-cache -f . The poor fonts are not visible after making this change.
