Products like CPU Diagnostics Monitor (CDM) (http://www.sun.com/download/products.xml?id=44bc4e39) need to execute some code on specific CPUs why still allowing cpu offlining, DR and processor set operations. Current CPU and processor binding mechanisms are to strong and we need a weaker bindings.
