Description 
On a Huron system with only one XAUI card on slot 1, the attach of nxge0 fails.
Work Around 
Move the XAUI card to slot 0.
If On a Huron system with only one XAUI card on slot 0, the attach of nxge0 fails.
move the XAUI card to slot 1 also fix the problem.
however,the permanent fix is to install the patch.
