I'm watching the launcher hang everytime I try to put nv 77 or derivative bits
onto a particular v20z.
serial console net install of nv 77, all mc (not all+oem) _no_ additional
software selected, loaded existing vtoc (10G root) and the install runs
through until it hangs here:

Pausing for 30 seconds at the "Summary" screen. The wizard will continue to
the next step unless you select "Pause". Enter 'p' to pause. Enter 'c' to
continue. [c]
The system can be control-c'd, which will drop it into a shell, running
the launcher by hand again hangs. Since it hasn't finished and determined
that there's nothing more to be installed, it hasn't disabled removed the
post reboot launcher and the system again hangs there if it is explicitly
rebooted.
