The "chassis-id" nv-pair in the hc FMRI for the FRU member of a fault event should contain the chassis serial number information required to locate the specific chassis containing the identified FRU. The source for chassis-id value should be specified in the product's FM Portfolio.
This RFE proposes that a new "PSN" nv-pair be added to the hc FMRI to contain the product serial number used to identify the unique instance of the product associated with this fault, in support of service entitlement checking.
