 Problem :

   Sunvts test on Northstar QGC EM failed for "Not received any packets in 
   loopback mode". 

 Problem reproduced:

  The  xxxxx vts loopback tests on the Northstar QGC EM failed despite using the
 following e1000g drivers which contained the fix for the Sunvts bug CR6521984:
 Sunvts/Northstar QGE tests failed for solaris at X64 and Sparc  platforms.

  e1000g-5.1.11  for S10U4  
  e1000g-5.2.2   for  snv_75  

  Here is the  xxxxx vts test status:
   
   internal loop tests passed for St.Paul/snv_75 and Glendale/S10U4. 

   internal loop test failed for Gemini/S10U4

   external loop test failed for all platforms St.Paul, Glendale 
   and Gemini.

     Sunvts external loop back test failed for all three platforms Glendale,
   St Paul and Gemini with the following messages:

    10/19/07 10:34:24 nsn102-49 SunVTS6.4ps1: VTSID 8011 netlbtest.
    FATAL e1000g2(/pci@780/pci@0/pci@9/pci@0/pci@2/network@0):  
    "Not received any packets in external loopback mode.


   Sunvts/Gemini/S10U4  xxxxx vts internal loopback test failed with the following 
   error messages:

    10/18/07 19:05:13 nsn102-41 SunVTS6.4: VTSID 8010 netlbtest.
    FATAL e1000g10(/pci@78,0/pci10de,5d@d/pci111d,8018@0/pci111d,8018@4/pci108e,f1bc@0): 
    "timed out for receiving pkt number 2."
e1000g-5.1.11  for S10U5-build8

 Platform : Leo

 This problems  were also seen while  running  external and internal loopback tests on
the Norhtstar Lp QGE card. But both tests under Nevada-build-91 passed without issue. 
A fix(SUNWintgige)package file for both sunvts problems has been provided by Chenlu. 

This fix will be verified if the fix both internal and external loopback problems fro S10U5.  

If the fix works, a patch for the fix is required for the Sun customer to
download the patch from Sunsolve and apply this fix 
after the Norhtstar Lp qge card is released for S10U5.
This issue also experienced in Oplin LP (dual/single port) on s10u6 with Venus, Taurus, G4F, Stuttgart.
