Description
BugID: 6343352 appears to have returned on my x86 Dell machine, in snv_29 (Solaris Nevada snv_29 X86). Although, the behavior is slightly different than what was seen in BugID: 6343352 -- the screen doesn't actually lock -- I can still perform system operations on the desktop -- its just that the Screensaver desktop icon appears (when invoked) in the center of my desktop and won't go away unless I pkill the xscreensaver process. Hostname is: beta2.sfbay

However, screen locking works perfectly fine on my snv_29 SPARC desktop (Solaris Nevada snv_29 SPARC). Hostname is: beta3.sfbay

Synopsis: xscreensaver locks the screen indefinitely
Occured this afternoon on my W2100Z with Nvidia 1.0-8172. pkill xscreensaver did dispose of the window.
Work Around
Workaround could be to pkill the xscreensaver process then invoke "xlock" when screen locking is needed for desktop security.
