Description 
When trying to install snv_16/17 onto Adaptec SATA RAID 2410SA, installation will fail while creating root filesystem.
The test machine I used is a Metro with 2 CPUs and 2G mem. One SATA disk is connect to 2410SA adapter and is configured as a RAID volum with write cache enabled.
I have changed the cable/connecting port/adapter and am pretty sure that it is not caused by any broken hardware.
