Description
Using Cinnabar 28 Linux
with gnopernicus 0.10.0 and gnome-2.6.

 - Start up gnopernicus with speech enabled.
 - From the main menu, go to Applications->Accessories->Calculator

 - <Tab> to the ouput textfield and (with numlock on) press 0, 1, 2
on the numpad. This adds a watch to the textfield.
 - Select any of the number buttons (e.g. 0-9) any amount of times and
speech should report the number each time.

 - Now, from the main menu go to Preferences->Desktop Preferences->Sound.
The Sound Preferences window will appear.
 - Under the 'general' tab, check the two checkboxes "Enable sound-server
   startup" and "Sounds for Events".

Notice that when repeating the steps involving the calculator again,
pressing the calculator buttons doesn't always produce speech feedback,
even with the watch set on the output textfield.

The reason for this is that the sounds made by the buttons ("Sounds for Events"
are enabled) are interrupting speech output. This is bad. This happens for other
events (namely checkboxes - although harder to reproduce consistently).

Work Around
From the main menu, go to Preferences->Desktop Preferences->Sound and
uncheck the "Sounds for Events" checkbox under the 'General' tab.
