Attempts to provide a loopback (LOFS) mount point in a non-global zone for a filesystem that is NFS mounted in the global zone fails for every access with EIO. Zonecfg has no problem in constructing that configuration, and zoneadm did not complain about instantiating it. Any reference, whether statfs() or open(), against the LOFS mount point fails.
Access to the LOFS mount point as root from the global zone does succeed.
Both NFS mount and LOFS mount are with RO option.
