I am filing this RFE against ldapaddent and it's related performance. I have been asked this many times, and I can only assume the following: Many persons (including) customers say that ldapaddent is very slow.
ldapaddent does not perform any connection management by itself. ldapaddent uses interfaces from the libsldap library, so it basically relies on libsldap and ldapcachemanager to perform the connection management. Note: We have to
run ldapaddent from a configured Secured LDAP Client.
Work Around
The current woraroubd is to have mutliple terminal windows open and start a ldapaddent session per window but for different containers.
